Yeah, it’s hard to explain. They’ve been basically my all-time favorite band for checks watch 24 years now, and I basically hyped myself up so much to be able to shoot them, and then I was disappointed by the shots when I got home so I didn’t want to look at them for a while (gross color washes, shooting from the soundboard at the back of a theater, etc.)… and then a month turns into a year and into five… finally forced myself to make the best of them. I’m glad to finally have them in my portfolio now. Not my strongest showing (my cell phone pics from front row of a show a couple years later are better actually), but there are a few solid ones in there. I do love the scowl from Jordan.
