I visited a beach on the beyond and chatted to my dead father

Post Body

I crossed a gate that closed behind me. There were several cars parked, a model I've never seen in my life. Walked pasted them, on a patch of dull green grass sprouting on a dune. When I reached the top I saw a beach in front. There was a large step to drop to the beach, marked by a leaning palm tree.

The sand was dark brown and coarse. I could not see my feet when I was standing. It was as if my legs finished on my knees. And yet I could feel the sand and the cold water on them. The waves were hitting strongly on the shore. It was a sunny day but you could look straight into the sun since a grey fog or smoke was obscuring it. There were more people walking on the beach. None had leg below the knee. I hanged out with my dead father and walked along the beach, passing others. I don't remember anything of the conversation.

We reached a small tunnel with white limestone walls. Inside there was a gate with a person. This person asked me if I belonged there. We crossed the gate and suddenly it was night. The sky was clear and the moon was visible.

I was told that the night marked the end of my visit and couldn't stay longer. I tried to imagine colors, how things look under the light of day to try to paint back the world and extend it but was not allowed. The time was over and I wasn't allowed to remain. I had to be sent back.

I woke up. This might have been just chemicals on my brain but it felt as real as any other day.
