just woke up from a dream that I was in a warzone type thing. Had a new update called rust train, and ofc landed train to check it out. they updated the train to be a passenger carrier, decked out with a bunch of npc’s. Because I landed late I had to run to the last car. On it was a woman who helped me get on. She was apparently recently widowed because she had a ring on but her husband wasn’t there. She had her family with her, that only included her side as older parents. We talk, and I get invested, she seems so sad. I start helping the family, after protecting the lady from some player trying to kill them, (I assume for points) I talking and stuff on the train. The old train isn't gone, just on a different schedule. It comes by occasionally and lines up with the new train so you can jump back and forth getting loot before the old train pulls off. This continues until finally I die after jumping off to kill some guy way off the train.

When I die, instead of gulag I become a zombie, and spawn at the edge of the circle. I was so invested in the story on the train I go back but I feel I have to turn npc’s to zombies. They couldn't tell i was a zombie but i knew which of them was. Some zombies acted normal, like they didn’t know and others immediately started killing humans. to make another zombie you have to wipe your blood on them or to kill them. when you wiped blood it took longer. so i started turning people by wiping blood in cars ahead. It was weird, but in a cod game a random guy running and bumping into you isn't all that hard to believe. I would sometimes stay and talk to the widow, her parents, and when there was a lull and they left or smth i would go back to cars ahead and turn more into zombies. So in real cod fashion I'm running from car to car. (The train cars had like normal shipping car doors that opened by sliding them horizontally, but with a nice glass window. and looked kinda fancy). I would sometimes use the other, faster train to get ahead.

Eventually a player zombie kills the family. I kill him, but when I do, all the npc zombies that I and the guy created get pissed and start trying to kill me. Including the widow. Once they become zombies i guess the npc’s can pick up drops bc some have basic guns (pistols, shotguns, a few bolt actions, all without attachments) while some just come at me with bare hands trying to claw and bite my throat out. So now I start fighting the back half of the train, while trying to convert the front half to zombies. im jumping off, getting some kills in the back half then climbing on top, running ahead and getting some zombie turns. this goes on until they finally kill me. I respawn again at the edge, this time there’s a squad of humans behind me in the storm, so I start running and finding gear. I went into this overhang while they dropped a strike on me, but the strike was like a trio of large round bombs on a pallet, stacked in a tower, with a parachute on top. When I hear the parachute open I get scared and hide in the overhang, then I see outside of the overhang that one side detaches from the pallet, leaving the bombs to spill out like a Michelangelo style method of destruction.

When I got to the train everyone had become zombies. I try to get more loot but the woman has become like their leader, telling the zombies to kill me. I'm running to the front of the train bc i haven’t seen the conductor or anything, and i find out that the cars at the front are actually past iterations with the very front being one from like the 18th century, like abe lincoln type shit. I hear a conversation from the conductor, but I'm crouched near a ledge and can't see him. He says something along the lines of “...so this time I made the trap a woman, someone so sympathetic, the new enlists will have nothing to do but to sypathize with her. But the funniest part is she wanted to trap them. She took the ring of her own volition. You see, nothing makes the people kill each other. I simply allow them to spread the disease. The reason it's called the rust train is because of the blood on the windows, from the people clawing their eyes out at what they’ve done to one another.” I hear all the zombies yelling the lyrics to What’s Love Got To Do With It but without music. it's a chorus without a backing(idk why its so scary) As he finishes I look into his car and see that on his ring finger is a normal wedding ring, but where the engagement ring should be, it's a chunk of flesh around that’s missing. It glows red. I hear the whistle blow, the train slows at a stop, and I know that I have to leave or die. There is only one human left on the train, and they want to make it a sport. But it’s not me.

The doors open and I see one man, he’s rather ratund, running from the herd. He’s being chased by every other zombie in the train. I jump from my perch to the side that the exit is on, into a ditch and hope no one sees me. I land with one ear in the dirt to keep my body out of view. I hear the zombies crack and break bones tearing into his flesh, and his screams. The head of the woman rolls over where I lay and settles in the same position facing me. Her face lights up as she sees me and before she can scream that there’s one more left, i wake up.

this shit was just so wtf i had to go to twitch to watch some warzone streams. if anyone can interpret this shit please help. it was so weird. i have't had a dream in so long, much less had a nightmare so this one was weird.

like to add that i dont even own a computer or console to play warzone. I have never played it.
