there are certain dreams of mine that take place in the same dream world with the same friends. for example; my friend megan has a house in my dream world that doesn’t exist in real life but is the same every time i go to her house in my dreams. there is also the same school, mall, & neighborhood that are recurring settings that these dreams take place in. kind of like a little town.

sometimes i’ll have a few dreams where they will all pick up where the last one left off, but they aren’t all in order. i can always tell when i’m back in that same dream world though. as there are always the same people & places in them.

there are also dreams where i’ll be talking about a ‘memory’ i have from another dream, or someone else will bring something up from a previous dream.

example: i’ll have a dream that i went to a concert, then a few days later i’ll have another dream where i’ll be talking with my friends & someone will bring up the concert & the details of what happened.

its like i have a separate life/world that i’m livibg a life in, in my dreams.

does this make sense? if not i can explain further. it’s not every dream, as sometimes i’ll have normal weird dreams or nightmares, with no one i know in real life or with totally unrealistic situations.

but when i do have these dreams they’re a lot more realistic & rational than my ‘normal’ weird dreams & it’s just like an alternate reality.

does this happen to anybody else? i always try to explain this to people like my boyfriend or friends but they can’t relate.
