Last night was definitely an odd experience for me. I was laying in bed watching the 'Killer Legends' documentary until my eyes were too heavy to continue. I had a sort of creepy feeling when I closed my eyes to sleep. I started to doze off and then I woke up to my daughter crying but my wife instantly jumped up to go check on her so i just closed my eyes again. Next thing i knew i thought i woke up, i was laying in bed and i could feel my head pulsing and this intense pressure in my ears that was building and building until I panicked, got on my feet and attempted to walk into my daughters room to tell my wife what was happening but my legs quit working and as I stumbled to my face the thought of a possible seizure ran through my head even though I've never had one before. After crashing to the floor my body was forced into the fetal position and then I was lifted up into the air and my body was pulled out of her room, down the hall and back into my bed. I was trying to process how and the hell my body involuntarily flew through the house when I saw this 3 foot tall sock puppet at the edge of my bed just kind of taunting me maybe? It wasnt necessarily scary looking but I became frightened because I could hear my wife and daughter in the other room but this out of place sock puppet was opening and closing its mouth right in front of me and I was paralyzed completely but totally aware of what was happening, it was at this moment I realized I was in "that place" again, I tried to scream for my wife but I knew it wouldn't work... after trying desperately to yell out I finally got my wife's attention with a few tiny gasps of moaning... it was all I could muster and when she came in I was released from the paralysis. Ugh it was so so weird my friends. I was scared to go back to sleep because if you have ever had sleep paralysis then you know how bizarre it is and having no control is terrifying.
