Three Reoccurring dreams.
Post Body

I keep having reoccurring dreams, usually the same three dreams.

The first started a few years ago. It's like I'm watching third person over someones shoulder. I see a man, wrapped in a blanket reading a book in a tiny white cushioned nook. But we're floating, like we are in space. The book the person is reading always appears blank to me. Soon A red light will start flashing. I don't hear any noise, no alarms, just a red light, slowly pulsing, glowing and coloring everything red, then fading back to white lights. The person drops their book, and it floats away as they fly through corridors and tunnels. I'm watching them pull themselves along handles till they arrive at a console. He presses a few buttons, and these giant doors open revealing a window looking down onto earth. As it opens and comes into focus, I can see tiny flashes of light on the surface. They slowly grow, larger and larger, pushing clouds out of the sky. The earth is burning. Nuclear war. The person in the space station puts his hand to the window, and I can see tears stream down his face. He's speechless. As he opens his mouth to scream I wake up...

The second is similar. Instead of third person floating like a ghost, this time is different. I cannot move. I cannot speak. I cannot hear. My vision is distorted, as if I were peering through a fish eye lens. I feel like I am part of this vessel. A camera, or something. It's a dimly lit corridor... maybe a submarine. Pipes and steel grating for a walkway. As dim as it is, I can still sense a red light flashing, glowing and fading. As the light grows I can tell there is water spraying. I see a man come running down the hall. An older man, grey hair, worn and tired face... but he's panicked. I can see it in his face. He begins talking to me, but I hear nothing. No sound. He starts getting angry that I don't respond. He slams his fists on the wall next to where I can see. He yells at me, screams at me. I can see it in his face. He is afraid. But there is nothing I can do. I cannot save anyone.

The third... It starts with clouds and blue sky. An Island paradise comes into focus below me. I can see a city spread across the entire Island. Yellow stone walls ring the city, maybe a hundred feet high, and only a few hundred feet from the shore. Few buildings aside from the palace at the center are taller than the walls. Gold statues holding tridents with flowing togas stand guard outside the gates. Royal Blue banners fly over the walls, and most of the people are dressed wearing royal blue as well. From the poor beggars to the richest merchant, they all wear blue for their city. After looking over the entire town, my attention is pulled to the shores outside the gates. Hundreds of people are standing, scattered among the shore and the surf, all looking out to the sea. It's like they know something is happening, something is coming. The beautiful blue sky begins to fill with dark clouds, that even though this is a dream, those clouds fill me with dread. The tide begins to roll in... but it doesn't seem to be normal. it pushes further up the beach. Those in the surf begin to run for the city, but some along the beach are still standing and staring. They are mesmerized. Suddenly the tide turns around, and goes out... it keeps pulling back. Fish are flopping in the new shallows, but in the distance, you can see the horizon growing. It's a tidal wave. Everyone on the beach is running, screaming. I can hear horns blowing, a warning. The gates begin to close, not everyone makes it back in side. The wave is coming, faster and faster. It slams into the city walls, and for a brief second I am still under water, and I can see the people that didn't make it floating in the water, battered against the walls of the city. The wave doesn't recede, it doesn't crash over the walls. It's almost as if it is pushing on the walls. The water is completely around the city. I can hear screams and crying. People are panicking. Something changes in the air though. A quiet sets in, only disturbed by thunder crashing. I see one man, a poor beggar rise to his feet from the ally way he stays in. With his eyes closed he turns and faces the wall. He stands there, silent, eyes closed, facing the wall. Another person stands beside him, this time it is a mother. Her young child is frightened, and holds to her leg. More and more people, all walks of life stand behind the walls. They all reach out and place both hands on the wall, as if they were going to try and push it. This act causes lightning and thunder to flash and boom non stop. The poor beggar begins to scream at the wall. Not at the wall, but almost through the wall, like he is shouting back the sea. A merchant drops his head, and weeps, but never drops his arms from the wall. Tears stream down his face. Another man so scared to die. I've never dealt with this much raw emotion in real life, I've often woken up with tears running down my face...

Just had to get these out there. Maybe someone will be able to tell me what this means... if it means anything at all.
