Reccuring dream went different last night

I always dream that someone is trying to or is breaking into my house. It is always so terrifying and I feel very helpless.
Last night it went a little bit different. Someone broke into my place but I managed to put some seethrough door in front of him to protect myself, and then I picked up a knife and stabbed his legs so he couldn´t walk anymore. I felt so good, like I was finally in control of the situation.
Does this means I broke a curse or something? Lol.
