My dream journal entry from last night, almost right after waking up (drenched in sweat):

6-17-23 Had a nightmare that I was in hell and that it was like an abandoned shopping mall. I remember waiting in a line, or standing outside of a night club inside the creepy abandoned mall. It was very dark in there, and I remember ceiling panels had fallen down in some places. The lights were fluorescent, intermittently out (kind of like a checkerboard, and some were flickering.

Outside the club there was a woman that I talked to at the front of the line. I remember looking at the lineup for the musicians playing there, and the beastie boys were playing. There were some other dead, musicians/bands headlining. I talked to her and remember her showing me her nippleless breasts. This really freaked me out. I remember an idea about there not being sex there, after witnessing this.

I briefly remember a portal opening in the sky and this is where I came from. It wasn’t our sky though, it was hell’s. There was also a man with a skull for a face. It almost looked like he was wearing a mask. The outline of the skull-face was wreathed in feathers or something, like a Mayan/Aztec ritual mask or a God. I remember him asking me to do something, but I don’t remember what.

I did some more research and the images I found depicting the Aztec God Mictlāntēcutli UNCANNILY match the man I met in my dream. I looked at the r/Anahuac subreddit, and was surprised that this deity had appeared in other’s dreams. The weird thing is, I was raised catholic and had never heard or seen depictions of this god. I’m a little scared now, and wonder if he may be some kind of demon invading my subconscious mind? I’m also really high right now, so I might be trippin, but this is wild.
