So I'm thinking to restart my game....would I be setting myself up for failure to complete the star...

So I'm thinking to restart my game....would I be setting myself up for failure to complete the star path if I restart with only 41/42 days left to do it??

Or no?! Reason why I'm wanting to restart is that I got shards from someone to be able to unlock my last areas, and pumpkins to get rich....but I don't feel that with being that kinda player that I'm actually playing the game....thus my choice to wanna totally restart and wanting to try designing my biomes as I unlock them....but should I wait to restart til after finishing the star path? Or could I finish it successfully even if I restart today? I've already started it and unlocked some of the items...and I use the cloud save so would they still be unlocked in my new game or no??
