like they all agreed to do it and then they just achieve perfect family harmony straight away without actually resolving any of their problems which just kinda makes it seem like the Harmony isn't really all that special if it can be achieved that easily.

plus I feel them achieving the harmony just like that undoes Poppy's development over the film since she started out with a perfect view on family thinking it was an automatic good thing and even being a little mad at Branch for not wanting to reconnect with his Brothers.

only to finally learn that it isn't that simple when she sees how they all act during the argument scene and how they want to ditch each other and don't at all respect Branch's feelings on the matter.

so all that is great its development but then it gets undone by the fact that Branch instead goes over to her way of thinking by giving his bros another shot based on nothing they themselves actually did to deserve it he just gives them another chance because yaaaay family is great no matter what.

sorta like how everyone in the fanbase got mad about Poppy and the village giving Creek another chance in TBGO despite him doing nothing to earn it its the same thing with Bro zone.

it muddies the message so really I feel the film should have had Branch achieve the Harmony with other characters namely Poppy and depending on what you think either the snack pack or Branch's old band Kismet.

who of course would have to be be introduced earlier in the film Rather than right at the end but it could show a more posotive message about "" Family "" not necessarily being a good thing but Family is a good thing if you catch my drift? lol.

and Poppy further learns this little lesson when she sees Branch interact with his old band and namely how they actually treat him with ya know care and respect for his feelings and Branch unlike with Bro zone is legit happy to see them and actually is more open and affectionate with them.

making Poppy realise her view on what mattered in a family were wrong and well Branch and Poppy and his old band achieve the harmony in order to save Bro zone also showing Kismet are less selfish than Bro zone given they agree to Risk their own lives and help out just for Branch's sake even tho they don't even know his Brothers.

making the older brothers see how he achieved with other people what they could never achieve which would be a good starting point to make them realise they need to start to change Rather than having them decide to do it and then just achieving perfect harmony straight away basically jumping to the finish line without doing the work.

and in the end Branch still gives his brothers another chance but its more clear this is just the start of rebuilding their relationship and well they aren't exactly ever going to be his closet family in the ways that matter since it just isn't built on anything all that stable given how much of his life they missed.

and small detail but rather than being in the performance at the end instead Brozone are just in the Front Row audience showing support and making a start at trying to be more consistent in his life but still maintaining a respectable distance since its just early days.

but yeah as it is the family harmony kinda means less since it can be achieved by a group who had a truck load of issues simply because they decided to do it in that moment and as I've said before the family is great despite them having issues message does not work if you don't actually work to show the good sides of the family.

this film just felt like it showed half of a family therapy session but it was only the bad half where the families ugly flaws are exposed and we don't actually get to see any good sides of them or at least not enough to justify wanting to keep them around.

instead the film just sorta tells us they are redeemable and more worthy of a second chance from Branch than Velvet is from Veneer despite what the film showed us not really backing that up.

but hey Floyd said she was bad enough that Veneer should cut her off so I Guess that means she is worse than bro zone because if anyone knows anything about being a good trustworthy sibling its Floyd Right? lol.😂😂😂😂

so yeah leaving aside the fact I'm a sucker for found family in media and I like the little fan HC that people have come up with about Kismet I feel the film's theme would be less muddy if Bro zone hadn't been a part of the Harmony at the end.

clearly it isn't linked to blood since Poppy and Viva joined in with Branch during it so it seems to entirely rely on emotions and state of mind which just makes it all the more weird how it worked with Bro zone despite them still being bickering jerks mere minutes before doing the Harmony.
