what if the 4th films story centered around Bro zone and Kismet for whatever reason having to travel somewhere together to do something exactly what isn't too important to the overall story.

and during which we see Branch just being way closer with Kismet to the point his Brothers get Jealous and feel a little insecure over how Branch seems much more comfortable around them than he does around his own family.

and the film basically is just about Bro zone having to get over themselves and accept that they aren't ever going to have the same kinda relationship with Branch that Kismet and even the snack pack do.

since it just isn't built on anything as stable due to them being so unreliable in the past.

like maybe mid point through the film maybe John Dory or even Floyd since he is the sensitive one lol finally gets kinda mad at Branch straight up saying why does he act so different around them? as opposed to how he acts around the others.

when their the ones who are his actual family and they kinda downplay the importance of the other people in Branch's life which is when he finally starts to get angry taking offence at that implication.

as he points out all of the times throughout his life that the others have been there for him like how the snack pack were there when he first opened up about the guilt he felt over Grandmas death.

or how the snack pack saved his and Poppy's lives from Chef at the end of the first film.and a bunch of points where Kismet were there for him through the good times and the bad times.

personally I like to HC Kismet as being made up of people who all became friends in the first place due to being misfits who all came from troubled backgrounds like Branch did.

so they were actually way more understanding of him than most of Pop Village were and even Poppy Despite her good hearted attempts.

so Branch says that in his life they are the ones who he's actually been able to count on and who haven't hurt him as badly as they did basically saying they are more like family to him than they have ever been.

shocking the Bro zone Members anyway I'd just like it if we actually got to see Bro zone be put in their place some more in the future.

and for them to be forced to realise that they can't just pick up where they left off after Decades of abandonment.

and mistreating him in present day as well so they just kinda gotta learn that they can try and have a relationship with him in present day but its gotta be at his pace.

and it isn't ever going to be the same as when he was a kid as what they did they simply can't just erase and go back to normal after all this time.

and if anything they should be happy for him that he found new people and didn't just stay stuck as that abandoned little boy waiting for his family to come back when they never actually did.

anyway long story short I just feel it'd be a much better message than what TBT had if they actually had it be a story pointing out the proper things that make a family given Bro zone literally only were family to Branch in the sense that they are DNA.

they were absent his whole life unreliable over and over again and mistreated him in present day so I'd kinda like for all that to not just be forgotten about and Brushed under the Rug.

and while the 4th movie can still end on a posotive note of making it clear Bro zone are still working to make their Broken family work it does also make it clear that they aren't exactly ever going to be an actual complete family in the ways that matter.

and certainly not as close with Branch as the people who have actually been there for him throughout his life and who haven't let him down as badly as they did.

and sometimes even if your "" Real "" family are still in your life they aren't going to be the family your closest to ya know?

I've been loving the fan content on Tumblr based on the idea of Kismet kinda being this little surrogate family so that's kinda why I came up with this idea lol I just find it much cuter and more healthier than Bro zone tbh.
