I read a fanfic that had this be the case and Honestly its an easy little story to imagine happening in the future Branch showing his Brothers around Pop Village not to mention his Home but he tries to hide the evidence of his past from them due to being ashamed or worried they'd Judge him.

so he haphazardly rearranges his Bunker to look more like a normal Troll House that just happens to be underground whenever they ask about the years that they missed out on he just kinda Vaguely answers their questions with half truths.

stating he was never exactly close with the rest of the village but he got out a decent amount and saw other people pretty often and maybe even we get some funny little scenarios like.

he shows them around the Village and they stop to get Drinks at a Drink stand only for the person serving them to be none other than the woman who's wedding he crashed and who's Husbands funeral he also crashed.

when trying to warn them about the Bergens.

so when serving them she gives Branch a very passive aggressive attitude to which the Bros question why she'd have it out for him only for Branch to awkwardly push them away from the Drink Stand and Rushes them along with the tour of the village lol.

not to mention other small stuff like Villagers coming to him telling him that one of his Traps that he has set around the Villages Perimeter has caught something only for him to awkwardly shew the person away stating they must have him confused with someone else.

and someone coming to him telling him they have the order of storable long lasting Rations that he asked them for before and again he just keeps having to awkwardly brush these people off and act like they were mistaking him with someone else.

due to not wanting to appear crazy to his Brothers tho this ironically has the Reverse effect given how erratic he acts trying to cover up his ways of life lol.
