I could imagine this in a future story like maybe he ends up struggling again maybe due to still feeling somewhat uncomfortable around the family and feeling easily overwhelmed by them all spending too much time together.

but he feels he can't say anything and actually set down any sort of Boundaries as he's worried he'd just be seen as Ruining things for everyone else when they're Happy or even just that his family would see him as causing trouble just for the sake of it and decide to up and leave again.

either that or it could be just his old issues resurfacing maybe its the time of the year Grandma died and he's feeling low but again he doesn't say anything due to not entirely trusting his brothers enough to be honest with them.

as he still thinks he might say the wrong thing and cause the family to split again if things got too negative and serous.

either way I could maybe see this sorta thing being an issue in the future when it comes to their family still being somewhat new. what do you think?
