personally I feel that if the franchise does have Poppy and Branch become parents in the future maybe after another 1 or 2 films first then I'd think it'd be nice if they actually ended up adopting or fostering already existing Troll children that are in need of homes.

after Branch suggests the idea given he was an orphan as a kid so helping out other lonely troubled Troll children would be very personal to him and of course I think Poppy and Bro zone would be more than supportive of the idea and the plot of one of the future films can revolve around them getting to know their new children over the course of the story.

in a way Branch could be somewhat trying to further deal with his past by helping children similar to him when he was that age which could tie in the future film exploring the bro zone dynamic a little more.

given maybe Branch at the start is somewhat overcompensating in trying to be everything to the kids his bros weren't to him and this results in him actually ignoring what they really need and want from him and not respecting their own boundaries which they have for their own reasons.

just an idea I Honestly think there's a lot of cute potential with the fostering or adoption angle if the writers go that way in the future.
