in the third film they just sorta had to put their problems aside to save Floyd and as a result not much was really resolved in terms of the family Drama.

I'm not necessarily saying I want Branch to go back to being angry with them but I just feel like after over 20 years ( which for the record is most of his life ) of not having them in his life that it should be harder for him to just kinda feel comfortable playing happy families with them.

more so for him than the others given they did grow up together and split up when they were basically adults or at least older teenagers but with Branch he was literally a baby.

so it'd deffo be harder for him like I said I just hope if we get another holiday special or something in the future we maybe see this tackled a bit more like maybe they have a big family get together for Christmas in his Bunker and Branch just sorta feels uneasy the whole time.

until eventually he sorta snaps and says he can't do it given he spent most of his Christmas's alone and his brothers hardly know him given they missed out on pretty much his entire life and maybe he tries to go into shut down mode and asks everyone to leave.

and after talking with Poppy and each other the brothers end up comforting Branch and telling him they do regret not being there for him but they reassure him that they aren't going anywhere again and they want to be in each other's lives through the good and the Bad.

just something along these lines I feel would make sense given the third film kinda had to rush the resolution between the bros when there was still stuff they needed to sort out really.
