as his brothers not being there for him all those years after his Gran's death very likely contributed to him turning out the paranoid wreck that he was at the start of the first film given he had to go through all that grief and Trauma on his own.
the third movie really needed at least a couple more scenes talking about that like maybe a proper scene where he tells them everything that happened with him after their Grans death and the brothers actually apologise properly now that they fully realise everything he went through on his own.
plus it would be nice if we got to see the brothers having a bit more of a reaction to finding out exactly how their Grandmother died and maybe they all reminisce a bit about her would have made for a nice scene.
like I said I just feel the movie needed more than just that one argument scene to fully unpack and deal with this issue given how serous it was for poor Branch.
I'm actually hoping that in whatever comes next in the series be it a another tv show or a special that we do see Branch still not feeling right about playing happy families with them.
maybe it could all come bubbling to the surface due to it being the anniversary of their Grandma's death or something? and this causes Branch to remember everything he went through on his own.
and he could even revert to form and hide in his bunker after some sorta PTSD episode or something? and his brothers finally see just how much this still affects him all these years later.
just an idea I had? like I said I feel this aspect needed/needs more attention in the future of the franchise.
