like Poppy's good when it comes to keeping people's spirits up and talking about feelings and generally just fitting in as a Troll.

but Branch is the one who actually seems to take into account the important stuff and plans accordingly like when he predicted they were running out of water and tried to get Poppy to take it more seriously before it was too late.

and all his traps for cases of if monsters attack which has happened a few times in both of the shows plus it kinda says it all to me.

that in the episode where Poppy and Branch switch bodies for the day and have to live each other's lives Poppy's ( aka Branch in her body for the day ) biggest worry was making sure not to hurt Biggie's feelings and just paying the trolls attention over minor things.

yet Branch's ( aka Poppy in his body ) main worry during the day was making sure that a water slide was actually safe and structurally sound and wouldn't you know it without Branch properly repairing it the thing does break and causes actual damage.

so like I said it just seems like it'd make more sense for the pop Trolls to vote and put Branch in charge over all given he actually thinks about the important stuff that concerns the whole Village and really Poppy would be better suited in maybe a counsellor role or something ya know? helping people out with their feelings and whatnot.
