Pt 1: So, in my dream, I went to work (which looked way different than my work does IRL) - to find it smoking and a big part of it was burnt, and the boss was outside. I was frustrated and asked him why he didnt tell us not to come since the building is literally still smoking. He just kind of shrugged/dismissed it.

P1 interpretation: I think this part is mostly because I am switching jobs very soon. Also because we were joking about accidentally burning the place down the other day because something accidentally got burnt at work.

P2: Then, I went to my parents house. I went into my mom's bedroom and the ceiling was leaking a lot of water. My mom was upset because it was ruining the room/her stuff. Then she told me "I probably only have two or three months left ..." And started sobbing. I held her tight and tried to comfort her & i cried too.

P2 interp: i think the ceiling was leaking because my parents house has been in disrepair for years, and ive always been worried something would happen like the roof would fall in or the floor would fall into the basement. I think my mom telling me that she was dying was partially because she has always worried about her health, so growing up, I often worried she was "about to die", or there were multiple times she was ill & told me as much.

Looking it up, I also found interpretations saying that dreaming your mother is dying can be a sign youre not taking care of yourself or are sad/missing out on having time to yourself, basically. This is probably very true, especially considering when I start my new job I am planning to also stay at my old job and work 6-7 days a week to make extra $ lmao.
