It's been almost a decade since I've had a vivid dream. Now that the vivid dreams are back, they're almost always nightmares and a recurring location seems to trigger them.
Post Body

So, as a child I was always a vivid dreamer. I was religious at the time and thought that it was God trying to show things to me. Anywho, fast forward to my late teens, and I stop having vivid dreams all together; for almost ten years. Now that I'm 28, the intense, vivid dreams have started back up again for the last six months, so vivid that I always wake up in a sweat.

I usually don't have pleasant dreams. If it's not something demonic coming to get me, it's something undead (the latter of which happens a lot), or my parents are coming to get me--usually it's my father trying to sexually assault me, but I recently had a dream that my mother charged at me with a pair of scissors for being queer (they don't know I'm queer yet).

Anywho, right before these sorts of dreams occur my dream will start off in this massive, massive hotel. I've only had one good dream about this hotel where I was a famous jingle writer. The next time I had a dream in that location the hotel had hired an overbearing security guard (think J. Jonah Jameson), and ever since then, there will be a point in the dream where I "glitch" out of the hotel and end up somewhere terrifying. It's gotten so bad that I sometimes scream out and wake up abruptly.

What's with this location? And all of the traumatizing nightmares?
