In my dream I it was late at night in town, I’m waiting at a red and some old white couple parked in the parking lot maybe 50 feet away. Some dude that was walking on the sidewalk seems to be pissed about the way they pulled in past him walking or something.

I could tell he was going to go over there and start something, I pulled my car into gear and sped up to park next to the couple between the man and them. As I stop the car he passes in front of my hood, draws a gun and fires 2 shots into their car. As I’m throwing it in gear he aims it through my driver window and fires once before lowering his gun.

I had just stopped trying to run once he aimed at me, like I knew nothing would change what was going to happen. Then I didn’t feel anything different, I had a brief second of relief thinking the bullet had missed me. Then I felt lower ribs/stomach get warm and wet, I was scared to look more than a glance to help locate the hole. I stuck a finger in and realized I couldn’t drive away with a stick shift and hold my wound.

The man was still standing at my window just watching, “you shot me?” “Damn right” he says. I feel my heartbeats, they feel hard and forceful, I’m certain the round nicked the lower portion of my heart as I can feel it tearing more with each beat. I started to lose consciousness and then woke up.
