I don't usually analyze my dreams but this specific detail was the only thing I focused on so I thought it'd be fun to theorize

I had a dream where I ordered a strong glass of rum at a bar, I don't remember anything other than it looks the rum I have at home, which is to say it looks like all rum to me. When I tried the drink I found it too bitter and didn't like it, I forget what happens after, but at the end of the dream when I go to leave the bar, I drink the rum again having found the ice melted (is rum served on ice?) and much more to my tastes.

Maybe I just was thinking about drinking when I fell asleep (despite rarely drinking rum) but most the dream I don't remember, and what I do remember I was listening in at the bar with conversation swimming around you the way it kind of does, and looking at the rum
