This character was originally built for DnD but I decided to try using him in a new system and so far he's thriving. I've had to edit some art to get what I wanted for the game and I don't really need a drawing done but when a character really sticks with me like Arthur has I tend to want something done of them.

For some backstory Arthur is a half elf and when he was young he got lost in the woods, explored to deep, and ran into a mother bear who had her cubs nearby. The mother attack young Arthur wounding him mortally and despite the fact he was able to get away from the mother bear the damage was already done.

He headed deeper into the forest and ended up following a warm white light that shone between the trees. When he arrived in the clearing he saw the source of the light was a dying white phoenix. Arthur tried his best to help the bird despite his own deteriorating state, even burning his hands trying to pick the bird up. But he couldn't do much and crumpled over seconds from death>

The phoenix having witnessed the boys kindness gave up it's magical energy to save the boy. The Phoenix becoming one with the boy and allowing him to survive. This mean't he had Phoenix Fire inside of him allowing him pyromancy powers and healing powers.

When he got older this energy, having been left bottled up due to Arthur not knowing about it, burst free burning his whole village and himself. His village was destroyed, family gone, and his body scarred.

He wanders the world for years, causing the same problems for many other places till he stops trying to settle. One day he meets a woman who cleans him up and takes him in. they fall in love, get married, and live together peacefully for many years till his powers cause another tragedy.

After that he traveled again, never staying in one spot for to long, and eventually he got in a group who offered to help people he liked and now he's adventuring with people who he want's to protect.

Sorry for the long story, just thought it'd give artists more of a reason to wanna draw Arthur. Anyways Arthur is 6'0" tall, tan skin, kinda dirty looking as he doesn't like bathing, scruffy five o'clock shadow/patchy morning stubble, long redish orange hair that's about the same length as Geralt of Riva's. His eyes are orange and he has feathery flame like scaring extending from his eyes. He also looks tired all the time, somewhat emptyish looking eyes.

His attire consists of a cotton long sleeve shirt with elven chainmail under, a long dirty looking duster/trench coat made of leather and covered in burn marks, dirt, etc. He wears heavy looking pants with a leather belt and a pistol holster, heavy boots for travel, his whole upper body including his neck and arms and hands are wrapped up tightly in bandages to hide the horrible burn scars left by his first incident, and he has a rifle sling on him. Basically he looks like a homeless cowbow tired dad man. Here's an edited image I made for the game, yes it's not my original work but I don't use it outside of my game which isn't public or anything.
