According to the top capes*hit nerds 🤓, comic book industry is on the edge of collapse 💥💥

Hello everyone! This is Aduketsavar, welcome to my Youtube channel. Please subscribe and smash that like button before continuing! 👍👍

According to the nerd Youtubers 🤣🤣, comic book 🤬🤬 industry (by that I mean Marvel 🤑 and DC 🤑) is collapsing 😱 right now. I didn't know this but comic book retailers were already scrapping by even before the whole Chinoravirus thingy apparently. As you know this lockdown negatively affected brick-and-mortar stores, and comic book stores were hit pretty hard too. Not only that, the biggest comic book distributor (Diamond) basically shat on them by not accepting any new prints, which will leave them dry.

What's the logical next step if your distributor is screwing you hard and fast? Deal with the producer directly. Here's where things get weird. Almost all of the stores were waiting to hear from Marvel and their solution. But for weeks no one could reach Marvel and Marvel didn't release any info whatsoever. There were utter silence. But then, two weeks ago they announced new New Warriors book -you should definitely check it out-, which was hated by virtually everyone. Imagine you are a shop owner waiting for some statement regarding comic book industry, crumb of hope, but instead you get a new rarted comic book announcement. Marvel is gone, but how about DC? Well, they also doubled down on stupidity by announcing a new Batman comic that takes place in high school. You can see where this is going.

So apparently we can say bye-bye to comic books. If you want to know where I get my news, this guy's videos on the topic is the best one afaik:
