SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
So DD2 got issues sure, but you guys completing the game in 60 hours saying it’s short are absolutely crazy. I’m leveling 41 and I still haven’t explored the west side of the map. Why?
Because there’s so much to do! Seriously the exploration in this game is bananas! Going around and exploring every inch of the map is the best part of the game. You should not be beating the game so quick, I talked to a guy who beat it and was disappointed he did so in 60 hours, and I said “oh really? Did you do the Sphinx? Did you cut off Medusas head and use it as an OP weapon? Did you save the kids from the cave? Did you do the Spellbound quest? Did you save the guy from the Dullahan? Fight the dragon in Melve? Find the seeker coins for the gear?” No, he didn’t. You don’t understand what Dragons Dogma is! It’s not about the main quest, go off and explore every part of the map. It’s super dope and a lot of fun it really is. People ask how long is the game and I tell them it’s either 20 hours or is 100 hours it depends on how much content you want to experience.
There are secrets EVERYWHERE! Side quests that you wouldn’t believe. Did you unlock the vault beneath the main city? Did you kill your shadow? I’m not even halfway through the map and I did all of this and it’s been great.
Does it need performance patches? Yes. More vocations? Yes. Better save system? Yes. Does it feel unfinished? Yes. There are a lot of problems that are ridiculous to have existed in the first place, however the CORE of the game is just incredible.
So enjoy the game AND demand for better! Both of those are okay, there is plenty to do!
