Since our boy is getting his new form soon I've been doing a mini countdown for it and using his forms in order ending with SSG on monday and figured "well I see shallot go misused a lot so why not throw some tips around?" Nothing super serious just things in his different kits that people might not remember.
1st. Shallot pre-transformation is extremely tanky on cover. Between high natural cut, additional cut and a heal on cover along with a large heal on transformation he can easily function in the early game similarly to something like Pur GT17 sponging early damage for the team.
2nd. SS2 enters with a strike (Base,SS1 and SSG with a random card) and enough ki to use it so after something like a GB gauge activation you're still able to combo for a bit longer and depending on the form can snag extra dragon balls.
3rd. SS1 grabs you a dragon ball on transformation and another on entry/transformation if you've got a dead ally making farming rushes a bit easier.
4th. SS2's green drops subcount by 3 and cleanses debuffs. (Please don't forget because watching people guarantee a green, not use his green then get paralyzed mid combo is depressing.)
5th. SS3 only provides ki on entry with a defeated ally. This is smaller but I promise forgetting this can lose you games against the current meta.
6th. SSG natural healing and draw speed is based on being hit so eating a tap blast can be extremely helpful.
That's all I felt people might not remember or take full advantage of so for anyone that took the time to read this random thing good luck in your games and enjoy your day!
