Game pass DA origins dlc question

Hello, I just got an Xbox series x today and I want to do a dragon age playthrough. I see that origins is available on game pass but not the dlc, can I buy the dlc and still access them if I download the game through game pass or do I need to purchase the game too? Sorry it’s a stupid question but new to game pass stuff lol
