As they are not too tall, I could also cover them in winter with a fleece, they could make it to flower the second year.

We had one bloom, but after getting the whole flower out it started to mould and died. Such a sad story. They are dwarf cavendish, so I just cut the tip of the leaves when they start to touch the ceiling, enough so the can later go down.
I would like to take them to the garden, but being on a 9a zone I bet they would not make it through the winter. I would have more room and light for dragon fruit.
