O, mga accla. Walang mang-aaway, ha? The views and opinions of my mind does kot represent the thoughts and opinions of the hosts and kineme. Hahaha
Nagpost ako last week about the edits sa episode. This week, para wala nang mamisinterpret, sinasabi ko ulit I LOVE ME A GOOD STORYLINE. May mga konting kinks parin pero the producers are really producing!
May issues parin ako with transitions and camera angles pero, can I just say, I love how they tied the knots sa two storylines. Yung kay John and kanila Versex.
Yung kay John kasi parang feeling ko nabrush-over last week. Kaya hinintay ko talaga kung babalikan nila yun sa main episode this week. I feel kasi na it’s an important message. And I’m so proud of John for publicly sharing it para hopefully hindi na maexperience ng iba yun. And yes, the bish can perform. Napanood ko siya on Youtube dati bago pa siya naannounce. Nagperform siya as drag Jollibee hahaha
Yung kay Ver naman, I love how the episode showcased na okay na sila ni K sa start palang ng episode, which had a followup when Khianna picked her for the challenge. Olive branch kumbaga.
I loved how yung facade niya started to crack, which helped solidify yung exit speech niya. I loved how they showed her crying nung sashay away ni Angel. I loved how the other queens showed her support nung rehearsals. Subtle yung paglambot ng rough edges niya pero impactful. And the fact na she didn’t lash out after judging, it really showed her growth.
Nung exit niya, it was substantiated because nadala tayo sa journey na yun in one episode, even if hindi in your face yung development niya.
It warmed my heart to see the queens na kasama niya mismo immediately ran to hug her and support her.
This is what I was saying when I said Versex is good TV. She brought dimension to the show. A good TV show is not one episode. It’s a season. Problem is, we become so critical after an episode… which is exactly what the show was aiming for. But we shouldn’t ever go overboard. We have to let the emotions simmer and settle before they can move the audience through to a meaningful conclusion. Production did a great job dito.
Ver had to be accountable. Her exit showed that she was accountable to the people she needed to be accountable to. I love that for her.

Hey, gays. Let's not start any fights, okay? The views and opinions in my head do not represent the thoughts and opinions of the hosts and others involved. Hahaha
I posted last week about the edits in that episode. This week, to avoid any misinterpretations, I’m saying it again: I LOVE ME A GOOD STORYLINE. There are still some small kinks, but the producers are really doing their job!
I still have issues with transitions and camera angles, but can I just say, I love how they tied the knots in the two storylines— John’s and Ver’s.
With John, it felt like her story was brushed over last week, so I really waited to see if they would revisit it in this week’s main episode. I feel like it’s an important message. And I’m so proud of John for publicly sharing it, hoping that others won’t have to experience the same thing. And yes, the bish can perform. I watched her on YouTube before she was even announced. She performed as drag Jollibee at a bar in the US hahaha.
As for Ver, I love how the beginning of the episode showed that things were already okay between her and K, which was enforced when Khianna picked her for the challenge. It was like an olive branch.
I loved how ver’s facade started to crack, which helped solidify her exit speech. I loved how they showed her crying during Angel’s sashay away. I loved how the other queens supported her during rehearsals. The softening of her rough edges throughout the episode was subtle but impactful. And the fact that she didn’t lash out after the judging really showed her growth.
When she sashayed away, her development and storyline was already solidified with the viewer because we were taken on that journey in one episode, even if her development wasn’t in our faces.
It warmed my heart to see that the queens who were with her immediately ran to hug her and support her.
This is what I meant when I said Versex is good TV. She brought dimension and depth to the show. A good TV show isn’t just one episode. It’s a season. The problem is, we become so critical after an episode… We have every right to do so though. But we shouldn’t go overboard. We have to let the emotions simmer and settle before the producers can move the audience through to a meaningful conclusion. Production did a great job here. They gave her some rudemption.
Ver had to be accountable. We all agree. And her exit just showed that she was accountable to the people she needed to be accountable to. And I love that for her.
