My wife, some friends, and I have gone to a few drag shows and had an absolute blast. The problem I run into is that I get into a bit of an existential crisis of identity when we go because I'm a very non-passable crossdresser sometimes at home.
We are planning an evening coming up where we go catch a show and I was seriously considering going in drag to that show. Only one of the people going knows I crossdress (and other than my therapist and my wife is the only person on earth who knows).
So the question is: is it considered bad form to go to a drag show dressed in drag? I'm a big dude with a beard and I obviously wouldn't be participating in anything other than being an audience member but would it be too distracting for the performers? Would it seem patronizing? Am I overthinking this?
Thanks!
