Can I gain an advantage from this.

If I set the draft date in my leagues a few days earlier could I sneakily send waiver requests for new signings. My opponen- friends don't fully understand waivers yet so would it work ( dreaming of swapping a 5th mid for dybala If he comes ) . Also if I set the draft as late as possible ( on deadline day) is there any chance of the site crashing due to traffic and then missing the first gw deadline ?
