I met a TG recently who told me of an interesting problem she has with taking estrogen.

This is anecdotal: I don't know things like lab results or exact estrogen dosing.

Roughly, she was using estrogen patches (i believe) and she had to stop because she experienced heavy beard growth.

Assuming no significant missed details; is this a sign that the estrogen was being converted to testosterone ? What could be questions that she should ask about. I don't think she has good health care, so she can't expect the doctor to know what to do.

Her solution was to stop with the E and just consider breast implants.

Update: she also said the hair growth very immediate < 2 months after trying HRT

Clarification: She says that she got male hair growth BECAUSE of the estrogen. When the estrogen stopped; so did the unwanted male hair growth.
