I have read on this subreddit about AMAB people who got prescribed a low dose of T-gel to be applied to the penis, to retain penile function. I have some questions about it.
Post Body

I live in The Netherlands, and am currently working on getting E. I've had my blood tested, I've talked with an endocrinologist, and am getting my sperm frozen thursday. One worry point has always been that I would very much like to retain as much penile function as possible - I have very little bottom dysphoria, and experience no dysphoria while using my penis.

Recently, I've been reading up about topical testosterone cream treatment, to retain function of the penis. My endocrinologist is reluctant to prescribe me this without reading more information about it first. I would like to provide him information, but I don't know where to find official writing about this type of treatment. Any literature about this would be great, so I can forward it to him.

I'm also completely new to this subreddit, and am not sure where to start with understanding everything - I've pieced together who Dr. Powers is, and that he prescribes very personalized hormone treatments, as opposed to most other doctors. I don't understand a lot of the terms, numbers, etc. getting thrown around. If you have a good starting point, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Help/resources on any of these points would be greatly appreciated! Also if you think you have personal experiences, threads, websites, resources etc. that you think would interest me, I would like to read them. Thank you so much!

Edit: I've also seen someone talk in a thread about communicating with Dr. Will Powers directly, and sending the information they got from him on to their own doctor. I understand Dr. Will Powers is a busy man, but is there a specific manner of reaching him? I totally get it if there isn't.
