Watching Shakey Graves after Dr Dog slayed their set was the biggest let down of any Red Rocks show I’ve ever seen.

EDIT: I fully hoped and expected to leave the show a Shakey Graves fan.

We literally stayed because Scott said “don’t leave”. I was heartbroken they never came back out. Meanwhile Shakey feels his shit smells good he can use up 10-15 minutes telling lame ass story after story.

That guy is a vapid, mediocre musician who’s fan base seems largely basic bitches and top-40-radio-listeners. Does it say nothing that as co-headliners the two acts don’t do a single song together? I had hopes that his set would rise to level of Dr Dog. It was laughably boring and musically elementary.

Esme is amazing though. So is Caroline Rose.
