Maybe this won't be controversial... Obviously in the court of public opinion the standard has changed, or has been changing for a long time. The standard for allegations in the press and on social media is now 'Guilt until Proven Innocent'. There's not much point in fighting that battle here.. but I can work with it.

Accepting that DrDisrespect is guilty to some degree or another of participating in inappropriate messages with a minor... I'm curious, do you feel like his guilt is all you need to know? Banned, career over, a paria for the rest of his life. Is that good enough? Or is that just the beginning? Twitch most certainly would be next in the sights, complicit in covering up sexual predation by one of it's largest streamers for 4 years with ndas. Hardly sounds like a company I'd want to have my children engage with.

I would. The text logs surely exist in legal documents. Obviously the minor in question should have thier identity redacted. Subjecting a 21 year old to the public backlash from his more Ferociously Steadfast fans is hardly fair. Unless she was inclined to speak out. Have a #metoo moment, to encourage of other online victims to speak out against other snakes in the purple grass. That would be invaluable. If that is the truth, it's the truth.

If that is not the truth, wouldn't you still want to get a clear picture of what why and how these things came to light? If for nothing else, to praise the team, or person, that took down a lurking poisonous Ethiopian caterpillar like the Doc??? Possibly find out the tactics and operatives used to obtain proof of this predators ill intent.

Or... maybe in those details we find out about agents within Twitch, sanctioned or unsanctioned, with radical views and a mission solve what they see as untenable problems in the culture of gaming. Such as the person having a full on furry deergasm live on stream in the clip. FerociouslySteff*. [Now that's content I'd sit the whole family down to watch.]

I am aware that the Twitch Safety Council was not formed until 2020, making her membership role on that council happen after DrDisrespect made contact with the minor. But... if you watch ANY of her clips it's immediately made clear she had a rather radical agenda. And if you watch a specific clip she outright proclaims that:

"I have power, they can't take it away from me. There are some people who should be afraid of me, and they are, cuz I represent moderation and diversity. And I'm gonna come for harmful people,l. If you're a really shitty person."

Despite what the inevitable ad-hominem attacks on me in the comments will say, I have no bigotry toward any class type style or creed of people.. well, that's a wild hyperbole.. Facists, pedophiles, and whiney needy people who need things from me who use the newest slang, like; copium, go touch grass, Imagine thinking... etc.. to beg for thise things... they can get all the smoke.

However, being a part of one of those groups does not grant you protected status from scrutiny. Every person is an individual assessment. And if Twitch, as a company, thought FerociouslySteph was leadership material for thier own version of the Secret Police... It's reasonable to imagine they had made similar fuckwitted decisions with other extremist ideologs in the past. If someone like that, with an agenda to damage who they viewed as problematic, toxic streamers hatched the plan that lured DrDisrespect into those problematic chats. I would want to know. I'd like to see whatever records were kept for any planning and execution related.

Wouldn't you? Like the whole story? Or, crucify SlickDaddy in front of the arena, firm handshakes on a rightous day, and call it good.

Remember here, the presumption of guilt is already accepted. So even though you've probably figured out that I am one of the idiots who want more information before passing my inconsequential judgment on the man, you've already been given what you wanted. I'm just proposing addional perspective.
