Why did they know nothing about Downton history ?
Post Body

Why were they completely clueless when the visitors asked questions in episode 6.6 ? They didn't know anything regarding the history of the paintings, architecture, or even the general history of Downton. What were we supposed to take from all of that ? It really made me think that they were rather dismissive of their roles as the maintainers of the estate.
