Lots of things happened off-stage, and I wish we would have seen those interactions:
- certain characters finding out the truth about Marigold, e.g. Bertie's mother (and do the servants know?? Edith thinks they do, and if Carson knows he probably had a mild heart attack.)
- any reaction to Matthew's death or at least his funeral
- Daisy's wedding to Andy - Mrs. Patmore's exclamations alone would have been gold
- more of Mrs. Patmore and her niece running the "House of Ill Repute" - this would have been more interesting than the entire first movie, lol
Which moments would you have put on screen?
I feel like Thomas would have a very nice behind. Taut and round from climbing those stairs all day.
I know Downton is a very demure show, and I do love the romances in the show but I also wish they made it a tiny bit spicier sometimes.
I would have also liked to have seen Mary and Matthew's wedding night. Just see their excitement, awkwardness, and passion. No one has to get naked or anything.
Oh, only just now, truly. My Downton crushes are pretty lightweight.
But Thomas is certainly all the way up there when it comes to the sexy guys of the show. James Collier is a very good looking guy to be sure, and played the role perfectly, but I do find Thomas' queerness and complexity pretty sexy as well.
Gay guys have nice weiners, it is known.

I enjoyed her friendship with Tom, the similarities between them (leftists, widows, relative outsiders of the family). I would have enjoyed a little more of those 2 together.
