Downing Street has today released a statement on behalf of Prime Minister DrCaeserMD regarding the election of a new Labour Leader.

On behalf of the entire Government, I would like to congratulate NukeMaus on his election as Labour Party leader. Only those who have been party leaders can know the pressure, but also the satisfaction and as such, I wish NukeMaus tremendous luck in his new role.

I would also like to pay tribute to outgoing leader akc8. Regardless of political position, it is important that we all give thanks for their dedication to public service. It has been a great pleasure to work with akc8 and I wish them well in all their future endeavours.

I hope that our Government can work together with the Labour Party in the future. This Government is committed to cross-party consultation, and I hope that the Labour Party will continue to be cooperative in this endeavour.
