Looking to follow the competitive scene. Where to start?
Post Body

The best way to ask what I'm looking for is to use an analogy:

I love hockey, and I get my info on the teams, players, and schedule of matches on the NHLs official website. I watch the matches on TV.

Obviously I can't watch Dota 2 matches on TV, but I have been watching some streams on the teamliquid website. I've been trying to find some sort of schedule of when tournaments or league matches are, if such a thing exists. The side bar here and google haven't given me what I'm looking for.

Essentially, I'm wondering where I can go to find information on:

  • the teams (their rosters, history, etc.)
  • schedule of upcoming matches/tournaments, and where I can watch those matches
  • team standings/rankings (if that even exists)
  • streams/replays of important upcoming/past matches
  • Dota 2 news (roster additions, tournament announcements, etc.)

Thanks!
