I can genuinely say this is the worst period of dota I have ever played.

New pick phase pushes metas even harder. Literally no reason not to pick a hero and spam it repeatedly. Carries cant get countered except by dumb luck, so the only time that carries arent mega cancer is when theres an equally broken offlaner being spammed (aghs beast, current lycan, pre nerf broodmother etc.)

New pick phase makes overwolf CHEATERS (Yes, cheaters, read a dictionary) even more fucking strong so when you do what valve wants you to do (which is pick a hero and spam it) you get banned out of the fucking game by cheaters

This loaded on top of cheaters who use things other than overwolf being at an all time high, people literally streaming for weeks on end cheating or doing bannable offenses going completely fucking unpunished because valve refuses to do actually the bare minimum

Then on top of that you sit here in the worst meta in the past 5 years and it takes near record breaking patch lengths to get a balance patch and they dont even fix half of the broken shit before adding in new stuff or are just outright refusing to balance heros according to what makes them so strong.

TA straight buffed in every aspect 3-4 times? Not even gonna revert the formula change, hero still still thousands of times better than pre formula change even with this nerf and thus still remains meta

Broodmother not actually nerfed in the problematic stats and they just throw something on her to make her unplayable yeah thatll fix the problem

Valve actually not even attempting to handle tinker, just making a completely fucking new hero instead of just nerfing the things that made him overpowered

Then on top of that they add in new broken bullshit into the mix without finishing the old shit. Slark Sven Luna Beast and Lycan etc all at 56% winrate? Who fucking cares! If you dont cheat and use the basically necessary overwolf you better hope your 1 and 3 also pick these gamebreakingly overpowered heroes or else you just fucking lose instantly!

And this isnt even beginning to touch the financial situation. Hiding arcanas in battle passes, straight up failing to put forth promised items, all this other shit

Its actually pathetic how bad this is gotten.
