Valve is on something if they think the crit change is identical DPS

Previously, you could roll 2 crits and it would only take the highest one.
Now, if you roll the strongest crit, it will not roll the lower one. This means crits function completely separate from eachother. Not only do you not waste a crit, you dont waste the psuedo rng on them either.
Go load up a demo lobby, and max level PA with two daedeluses. You will crit 80% of the time. You could not do this before. Unless before this change, if you rolled 2 daedelus procs at once you would get a 450% crit, this cannot physically be the same dps. If valve thinks this is identical DPS they are drunk.
