First off, I'd like to congratulate the Dota 2 Devs, IceFrog and Valve/Gabe Newell on setting another annual record of surpassing last year's prize pool. This year's battle pass may have been quite a tedious and challenging effort for you guys, but it is evident in the prize pool that you guys really knocked this one out of the ball park. A home run. A buzzer beater. Job well done.
Now on to my topic suggestion. We all know that certain heroes based on statistics will always land a high place within the annual Arcana vote mainly due to their popularity. However, it has also been observed that supports will flock to that one particular support hero that manages to land a high place in the voting polls making it past popular carry heroes. So how do we make this a win-win for both carry players and support players who want an Arcana for their favorite heroes? Simple. You remove all the popular carry heroes from the annual Arcana Vote and place them as Arcana exclusives in next year's Battle Pass.
Valve, what you did this year, adding the Wraith King Arcana, Queen of Pain Arcana and Windranger Arcana was such a brilliant move. I mean just look at the prize pool! So I would like to suggest removing Invoker, Sniper, Anti-Mage, Spectre and place them as Arcana Exclusives.
My suggested levels for unlocking each would be:
1. Sniper Arcana: Battle Pass Level 390
2. Anti-Mage Arcana: Battle Pass Level 475
3. Spectre Arcana: Battle Pass Level 650
4. Invoker Arcana: Battle Pass Level 835
This way reducing the number of carry heroes in the voting polls would give more chance for supports to earn their way to an Arcana as well. This will also help you break the prize pool milestone every year. Hope this helps!
