Why do my player loadout settings keep resetting between original and Reborn clients?

It seems like every time I switch between clients, my custom courier, announcer, wards, HUD, etc all reset to nothing. I'm pretty sure it has to do with switching between the two clients, but I can't find any other people talking about this issue.
