Before TI5 started I posted a thread asking TI5 attendees to consider publishing some of their images with a Creative Commons license so that they could be used on the Dota 2, The International 2015, and The International Wikipedia articles. A bunch of you asked for a reminder thread after the event, so here it is!
If you want to upload your pictures with CC licensing you can:
- Upload them to Flickr under CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, or public domain and I'll transfer them across to Wikimedia Commons myself, though please post a link to your albums here, they won't be that easy to find!
- Upload them straight to Wikimedia Commons - you only need to create an account then click the Upload File button on the left hand side and follow the instructions. If you do this, please add the category 'The International 2015' during the upload process so they're easy to find. Post a link here if you're not sure you did something correctly.
Thanks to everyone who uploads images - the best will make it into the articles themselves - and I hope you enjoyed TI5!
EDIT: I forgot to mention that Liquipedia will also be able to use these images!
