I just learned that Roshan will not only start slamming when 3 units are in melee-ish range, but he will keep the ability to slam even if those units leave the slam range (according to the wiki).
Does anyone know how long Roshan will keep the ability to slam? Does it reset upon death or X time? Is it a viable strategy to trigger the slam aggro and then leave if you expect the enemy team to try a solo rosh (they have a lycan/ursa/juggy/troll for example)?
Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Followup - If you put three heroes in range but do not attack, does this also trigger the potential for Slam?
ANSWER: /u/ajdeemo tested it and there is nothing funky going on, Rosh only slams when three units are within range then loses the ability if they leave. The wiki is wrong. Check out his video proof in the comments if you are interested.
