Just starting to play a lot of slark now and I want to do well on it.

For starters, which lane would be the best for slark? I feel like offlane or safelane is the best but if I'm shut down in offlane, I can't comeback and I become useless.

Starting items? I start with stout, tango, salve, and branches. I get PMS if the enemy is right clicking me a lot.

Item choices? I like getting treads, drums, MAYBE SNY, basher, MAYBE shadowblade, and then on to late game items.

I know that I have to work on my pounce mechanics, which is fun but easily flamed a lot when i miss lmao. I have trouble thinking when to use my ultimate. Is it to restore health when I'm low during fighting or beginning of the fight so that the enemy spells are used on my teammates instead of me. I usually dark pact right before a CC is placed on me, so that part is okay for me.
