How do you know if you got Track gold?

Whenever I'm playing with a BH and get a kill/assist on a tracked hero, I do get a little gold popup from the death. However, I have no idea how much of that is from proximity or the kill, and what's coming from track.
Does Track have its own gold popup, does it get rolled into the hero kill gold, or does it just not show at all?
