Kez Grappling Claw lifesteal and attack isn't working

Just tested this out in demo after watching it in a random game I was spectating.
Before the recent patch, Kez' grappling claw would do an auto attack plus lifesteal.
Right now, when you use the claw, no extra attack happens (For example with a 1.00 attack speed, you could attack once, then use grappling claw to get a free hit before the next attack 1 second later), and the lifesteal doesn't occur either.
There's no specific interaction for this. It just seems broken altogether.
