Is there a way to track my hours when playing DOOM II mods?

I wanna track my hours on Steam but I’m not sure how to, the only way I know how to play mods is by dragging and dropping the .WAD/.PK3 onto GZDOOM. I’ve put GZDOOM in DOOM II’s base folder and renamed it to dosbox, I can play the regular game thru Steam but how do I do that with mods?
