It’s almost like they got the MRAP from a free to join military program for retired or decommissioned vehicles and equipment. It allows our tax dollars to be used more effectively by reusing vehicles that we already paid for. Ah yes, ACAB because they more effectively use our tax dollars.

Remember that time when Texas got hit by two backed to back record seven hurricanes. MRAPs were probably the only sort of vehicles that could get in there and rescue people. I know that if my family was in danger I would pull every stop out to help them.

Equipment like this is not only beneficial just to have on hand but also necessary for when SHTF. Having a free program like this one allows departments to reinvest in training. Something that many officers are lacking.

There are absolutely bad cops in service, some of them aren’t even intentional, they just haven’t been trained properly. What’s more common is bad administration.

If this is what angers the ACABers, our society is doomed.
