If I receive a complaint, preferably with a screenshot, of such a private message, I will ban you. The length of the ban will be in proportion to nature of your message.

Any of the mods can address issues and ban folks, by the way.

The culture of this sub reddit is one of safety and support--not a place to find new subs. If you cannot understand or abide by that, I would generally question your ability to be an effective and safe partner. Doms don't take advantage of people in genuine distress and crisis.

The people who post here are often in vulnerable spaces. They deserve care and compassion, not a message trying to seduce them.

I'm sure some of the messages are well-intended, still, please don't do it.

I've encouraged subs not to try and find new Doms here out of the same sensibility. In the unlikely event a Dom complained about a DM, I'd likewise issue a warning and proportionate ban.

The mods reserve the right to contact posters if there are safety or related concerns. The mods are just helpful folks and have no obligation or responsibility to respond. That said, this is a space for friendly support and not the place for serious mental or emotional health needs. If you are concerned for your own safety, please contact emergency services in your area or go to the nearest emergency department.

Ultimately this is a virtual environment with no truly enforceable rules. Banned users can just create new profiles. People may meet new partners here. Some will misuse the space.

We co-create this. It's often a beautiful place of caring advice and support. It's up to all of us to maintain and grow it.
